On twelve minutes Premyslaw Dachnowicz broke forward from defence before passing to Max Ollsson who forced a save from the keeper with a shot from the edge of the box. Thistle had their first real effort on goal on twenty minutes, with Lewis Muir saving the shot from the edge of the box.

To Thistle’s credit they completed the scoring with five minutes remaining, when a cross from the left was headed out, it went to a Thistle player on the edge of the box and the shot through a crowded box found the net.
