Scotland Under 19’s Face England

The Rangers youngsters likely to be involved in the Scotland Under 19’s and Under 17’s squads learned their fate with the elite rounds draw yesterday.

The Under 19’s face a short trip down south, after being drawn with England, Slovakia and Bosnia. England are the group hosts, with games on 27th, 29th May and 1st June. With only the group winners going through to the finals in the Ukraine in July next year.

Their club colleague Isa Bagci’s Turkey look to have a tough task, travelling to Portugal, to face the hosts along with Denmark and Greece.

The younger group travel to Austria in March. There they have to overcome Italy, and Georgia as well as the hosts to take their place in the finals in Germany in May. The dates for these games are 20th, 22nd and 25th March.

Here’s hoping both sides can top their group and do Scotland proud in the summer.
