Rangers 1 Inveness Caley Thistle 1

Rangers missed an opportunity to cut Hibs lead at the top to one point at Murray Park on Saturday. Due to the game kicking off at 1pm, I was unable to attend as it clashed with the first team game at Ibrox. Therefore only brief details of a report, but there is a report on the Official Rangers website.

With Darren Cole suspended and Isa Bacgi away on international duty with Turkey, Rangers had to make a couple of changes.  They did manage to take the lead on 19 minutes with a long range shot from Stephen Stirling. Inverness equalised on the stroke of half time through Shane Sutherland. The second half was goalless and time will tell if this was a point gained or two points dropped in the pursuit of their third league title in a row.

Rangers: Arturs Vaiculus; Steven Forbes, Ross Perry, Kyle Hutton, Gregg Wylde;Gordon Dick (Max Wright), Stephen Stirling, Jamie Ness (Chris Scott), Kal Naismith (Kyle McAusland);Archie Campbell, Kane Hemmings.

Unused Subs: Grant Adam, Andrew Milne.

Next game for the Under 19’s is away to Kilmarnock on Saturday 22nd November 2008, Kilwinning Sports Centre, Kick Off 12:00.
